Something new introduced Why are some countries more entrepreneurial then others?The rate of entrepreneurship, however defined, differs across countries and over time. As entrepreneurship is widely considered to be vital for innovation and eco-nomic growth, it is important to know more about the causes of this variety. A rcently published book by EIM researcher (and ECSB member) Sander Wennekers from The Netherlands, entitled 'Entrepreneurship at Country Level; Economic and Non-Economic Determinants', investigates why some countries are more entrepre-neurial than others.
